Itinerary

📍 Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)
Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival, transfer to a hotel in Thamel, a lively tourist hub filled with shops, restaurants, and cultural sites.

📍 Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara (900m) | 7-8 hours drive
Enjoy a scenic tourist bus ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara, covering 200km along winding Himalayan roads. Evening leisure at Lakeside Pokhara.

📍 Day 3: Pokhara to Marpha (2,600m) | Jeep Ride
Drive through the stunning Kali Gandaki Valley, passing Tatopani, Ghasa, and Jomsom, before reaching Marpha, famous for its apple orchards.

📍 Day 4: Marpha to Kagbeni (2,800m) – Chaile (3,050m) | 17km
Drive through Kagbeni, the gateway to Upper Mustang, and continue towards Chaile, enjoying scenic mountain views.

📍 Day 5: Chaile to Gheling (3,500m) | 18km
Cross dramatic landscapes, including canyons and rock formations, en route to Gheling, an ancient Mustang village.

📍 Day 6: Gheling – Drakmar – Tsarang (3,050m) | 30km
Experience remote Mustang with a visit to Drakmar’s red cliffs and Tsarang’s historic monastery and chortens.

📍 Day 7: Tsarang to Lo-Manthang (3,790m) | 16km
Arrive at the legendary walled city of Lo-Manthang, where the Tiji Festival begins. Experience the opening rituals!

📍 Day 8: Explore Lo-Manthang & Tiji Festival
Morning visit to the ancient monasteries of Koncholung, Choser & Nyiphu. Afternoon, witness the Tiji Festival, with monks performing masked dances to ward off evil spirits.
